Courageous Kids
Everything we do in Courageous Kids Ministry is dedicated to partnering with parents to help your child discover God’s plan for their life.
We are all about creating a culture where kids can build a firm foundation & relationship with Jesus while having the time of their lives. Your kids won’t want to miss the fun, connecting with friends, learning about Jesus while our team brings the Bible to life in a safe and fun atmosphere.
We realize that safety and security are one of your biggest priorities, and it’s ours as well. We have a dedicated secure area where our kids meet. Our Team Reps (volunteers) go through complete background checks before being involved in our children’s ministry. Every Team Rep is trained in safety, security regulations and procedures for the appropriate age group to serve our kids.
Courageous Kids Ministry is available during all service times. All updates and announcements for Courageous Kids Ministry will be posted on our church social media pages as well as the Courageous Kids social media. Please follow us to stay informed.

Services designed for your kids
-

Lil Cubs (6 weeks - 2 yr old)
Our Team Reps take every opportunity to create a peaceful, safe, soothing atmosphere for our nursery kids. We demonstrate to these little ones who God is through the love, care and every interaction we have with each child. We have times to pray, play, sing and learn Bible stories.
We have a designated area specifically for nursing moms, located in the main Chapel building near The Hub. For more information, please see a Team Rep (volunteer) at The Hub
-

Cubs cove (3 yr old - 5 yr old)
Our preschool kids will have many opportunities to have fun, connect with each other, play games and experience God. Each lesson is tailor made for them to have an hands on experience creating crafts, worship and learning about God through his word.
-

Lions Den (1st – 5th grade)
Our ministry team is devoted to bringing the Bible to life and helping kids not only read a story in the Bible but experience God in a real way on their level. We want to see kids have an active, personal relationship with Jesus. We accomplish this by creating a challenging age-appropriate message, incorporate visuals through technology, videos, games to captivate and inspire their hearts.

Have Questions?
-
Our team is ready for check-in 15 minutes before each service. Check-in lasts for 10 minutes following the end of service.
-
Our Courageous Kids Ministry is a completely secure area. Upon check-in, you will receive a security sticker that matches the one we place on your child. This security sticker is essential. We require that your security sticker matches the sticker placed on your child for them to be released from the kid’s area. For the safety of your children there are no exceptions to this policy.
-
Because our CKM is a secure area, only background-checked Team Reps are allowed in the building after check-in has been completed. We have an experienced team that goes out of its way to care for any child needing extra assurance. If your child still needs attention, we will contact you via text message.
-
We will send a text message to the number you provided at check-in. The text message will come from our church phone # (918) 478-9600. If you do not respond to the text within 5-7 minutes, we will have our Service Mgr find you.
-
Nothing is needed. However, if your child is still in diapers, you may leave a diaper or pull-up. You can also provide a prepared bottle.
-
We are committed to creating a safe environment for all children, and this includes being mindful of allergies.
