I’m New
we’re so glad to have you with us.
We know that going to church for the first time can feel awkward. We’ve all been there! Whether you’re new to church, have been a Christian for many years, or are looking for a fresh start, you are welcome here and we are here for YOU!
We have a saying here at CGC, “the first time you join us you are our guest, the second time you are family.”
It’s our desire that you experience love, freedom and purpose as you encounter God and new connections with people.
We are a church that loves to gather.
CGC is a place for you and your family to connect, grow & belong, a true community, not just a church to attend. Here, you’ll find people to do life with & opportunties to build friendships centered on faith. There’s always something happening at CGC, from Community Nights and movie nights, to Men’s Prayer, The Inspired Woman gatherings, and Glass Chapel events for our youth & young adults. We host pop up events for worship nights, prayer and so much more. To stay connected and see what’s coming next click HERE.

A chance to make a difference
We each have gifts and skills that God will use to impact the lives around us. We offer many opportunities for you to join one of our teams. You will get to meet others, serve with an amazing group of people and see people’s lives changed for Christ.
-
Build Community
At CGC, building community is at the heart of what we do, and one of the many ways we offer to do that is through Connect Groups. These groups give you the opportunity to connect with others over shared interests, like lifting weights, running, book clubs, or exploring new coffee shops. Simply download the app, click on “Connect,” then choose “Connect Groups” to find all the details. You will be so glad you did!

A Place to grow
Our vision is YOU! We want to equip you with tools to grow and develop in your journey with God. No matter what stage of life you are in, if you’re looking to dive deeper into the Word of God, beyond what our Sunday services provide, we have a Bible College that offers so much more.
XploreNations Bible College is a place for you to discover who you are in Christ and what specifically God has for you. We have an XNBC campus that meets on the Church at Glass Chapel campus every Tuesday evening at 6:30PM. We made Bible College doable for anyone to attend and get a four-year degree.

The Hub is located just inside our doors and is a one-stop-shop to get your questions answered about our church. Even if you don’t have any questions, stop by The Hub anyway before you leave & say hello!

We always say the first time you are our guest and the second time you are family. We are family-oriented church that loves Jesus and dislikes religion. We appreciate good connections and conversations over a great cup of coffee or tea. We provide free coffee and donuts every Sunday at The Hub.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
-
The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.
-
Jesus Christ was completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life.
-
God’s Plan for Your Body
Healing is for anyone who believes. God wants each of us to live healthy and whole lives so that we can live for Him and help others more effectively. -
God’s Design for Community
The Church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ and allowing His glory to be manifest in the earth.
-
God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one God in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.
-
Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through his own effort. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love.
-
Being Filled
The Holy Spirit guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ. Every believer can be filled with the Holy Spirit by simply asking. We believe that the evidence of being filled with the Spirit is speaking in other tongues, and that this is a vital gift for every believer to operate in. -
God Empowers Us
Baptism is a symbolic act to publicly profess one’s salvation. God commands it, but our salvation does not rely upon it. We practice full-immersion baptism, symbolizing the process of death and resurrection that Jesus went through for us.
-
God is great: He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.
-
Prayer is our ability to communicate with God. Prayer is our relationship with God, and through prayer and the Word, development happens in us as believers. Through Jesus’ salvation, we no longer need an intercessor to go between God and us, we can address Him directly and hear His voice for ourselves.
-
Somewhere Forever
Man was created to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence. -
God’s Only Way
The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.Item description
